Crush Luther Update...

Hey to all of you who read this! :) I'm sorry to inform you that Giggi has quit being a Crush Luther guitarist, Luther told me he just wanted to settle down and have a family and all of that. I totally understand. So now until they find a new guitarist they won't be touring for a while... :( I know, it is unbelievably sad! Like, ahhh! Well, anyways, just wanted to inform you all.

Hey everyone! Sorry for like, completely abandoning this entire blog for like, a month! I'm back now! Maybe... I mean, it's summer time! Hello??! You can't expect me to sit here everyday to update this silly little site! So, considering that I completely bailed last month, then Quote of the Day Theme of the Month is going to be Politics & Activism for August! O Wow, that was a really weird sentence... O.o

Okay so, from august 1-5 is the Exhibition! Wooo! For those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about -- it's like, fun rides and food thats really bad for you and a lot of fun and games! :) So I went on Wed. and on Thurs. (Wed. I totally met this superrrr hot guy whose friends with my step-bro and he is like, rawr. hehe >.< ) And yesterday (Thurs.) my friend Jade and me totally came up with this ghetto thing... you'll have no idea what I'm talking about unless you see it so pretty much it just has to do with this nickname that these guys gave me -- which is Marinara; because I'm "saucy" ! Hahaha Well, maybe I'll take pictures or a video of me doing this totally stupid and lame but totally funny and ridiculous thing so you guys can see... Anyways, I'm missing Hannah Montana! Laterrrr!

Canada Day!

Hello there, my little minions! :) So, as you all know - well, hopefully all of you - today was Canada Day! And so, today my marvelous friend Ashton and I went to Wascana Park for the festivities! Okay, totally no clue why I'm talking like this, i.e. using words like "minions", "festivities", etc. ! I ate soooo much food! I ate Froot Loops before I left, and then while there I also ate a double scoop bowl of ice cream, a sno-kone, and then we shared a poutine! And then, I had to go over to Grandma and Grandpa's because it was Grandpa's birthday. So I ate a big ass meal there, too! I am feeling like a WHALE! And so, just for that - I'm going to put a picture of a whale beside this because I am just THAT cool! Yeeeah!
Ashton and me went shopping this weekend and I got theee coolest t-shirt, its got this ghetto little karate-doing stick man on it, and above him it says, " I've Got A Black Belt " and then below him it says, " In Keeping It Real " It is like, sooo pimp! Haa! Well, I'm out - so - PEACE!

p.s. sorry I never wrote for like, EVER. But nothing was really all that exciting. :)

Concerto pt. 3

Hey! Last night was the Crush Luther concert and I had like, theee bestest time of my entire life! Ashton had to go before they even played which was totally lame. But I still had fun! After they played I got pictures with Luther and the guys (including one where Luther is kissing my cheek, little piece o' heaven right there! haha! i look retarded in it but whatever! :) ) And then I waited for my brother to pick me up, annnd while I waited, what did I do? I chilled with Luther for about an hour! Best hour spent -- ever! He was like, totally offering me to drive me home 'cause he was scared my brother wasn't gonna' show up or something like that. But they had to go to Winnipeg, and I live the complete opposite direction they had to go. Shitty, I know. That'd be a kick ass story to tell when I got home - "hey, Mom! Guess who drove me home?! All the guys from Crush Luther! Crazy I know!" - oh yeah, that'd go over well! Hahaha! Well, I gotta' go now - dentist appointment -eugh. Later!

I'm Sorry...

Hey everyone... Okay so, I'm sorry to inform you that yesterday Brandon died. I don't really know the details of it or anything, Matt just texted me and told me. For anyone who prayed for him or Kurt, thank you so much. Kurt's surgery is on June 6th so he's at home until then.
Thank you for praying, and please keep believing. It's hard to believe when something like this happens, but just hold on, things will get better one day. Can't say when, but one day they will!

rip Brandon.

Shocked.

Hey everyone! So, I just learned from this girl Sharlett (that I met at camp like, 2 years ago), that this guy Kurt who we both met at camp just learned that he has a brain tumor the size of an orange that has been growing for 2 years. He had a seizure and when he went into the hospital they discovered this tumor. She goes to school with him at Knoll and since they had to shave his head, apparently like, 30 other people at Knoll shaved their heads for him. Everyone believes he'll make it, there's not a doubt in anyone who knows him that he won't. I'm just really mad I never really got to know him, we talked a bit after camp ended over MSN but that was about it. Shar went out with him for a bit, I think. I just can't believe it. So many things like this have been happening all around me so fast, it's unbelievable.
This guy Matt I know who lives in Georgia - his friend Brandon is in a coma. He just graduated. And I guess some old lady hit him with her car and now he's in a coma, with only 34% chance of living.
It's when things like these happen that you really value your life, and the life of others around you. There's not much that you can do but pray and believe. Pray and Believe, just Pray and Believe. Pray to God that things will get better, Believe in God that He will make things better. You know, I'm not some devout Christian, but when I went and visited my Dad in B.C., he told me that all it takes is one moment - just one moment - that will change your life forever and make you believe in God; make you turn everything over to Him. I'm really starting to see that now, to believe it.

Well, I just wanted to tell everyone about this news.
Pray for Kurt, okay? And for Brandon? People aren't supposed to die young, they're supposed to get old, have a family, have kids, watch their kids grow up and make a family of their own - and then die old. Not like this, not this age. It's just not right. Pray for them, and believe that things will get better. Because one day, they will.

Birthday Party!

Hey! So today is my cousin Colton's 4th birthday party! Everyone tried so hard to make it freakin' awesome, well, okay - his dad, my mom, my step-dad, me, and everyone else except for his mom - tried everything they could to make it freakin' awesome! Whatever, I guess it must've worked? Little kids always love birthdays just 'cause they get to tear open gifts and act as crazy as they want and no one can even think about getting mad at them, because it's their birthday! Not like he'll totally remember it when he's older since he just turned 4. But he might - make the memories good enough and you can remember anything.
Anyways, we had a bbq and he got this wicked sweet little Mustang, and it's soooo cute! It has a little radio in it and everything! It's so effing cool! But, I gotta' get back outside with the partayyyy! later.

Silent Treatment

Hey! Okay so, my stepbrother Mitch pretty much hates me now. Why? Because yesterday his ex-girlfriend (she was his ex before this happened, just so you know...) Megan came over. And while he was in the shower we got to chattin', and it ended up slipping out that Mitch slept with this Brittany chick. Yeah, it hurt Megan like a bitch, having to hear about who he slept with a week after they broke up. But then we kept talking and she realized that this Brittany is the same Brittany he was with after they broke up the first time - which hurt her even more.
So, Mitch came upstairs from showering and Megan had her head in her arms and she was crying (obviously) and she never wanted him to see her so she just kept her head down and every time he asked what was wrong she just said she had a headache. Anyways, so then she decided that she was just gonna' go. So before she left she said something along the lines of, "Don't bother fucking calling me tonight!" and then she slammed the door.
The second after she slammed the door, Mitch said, "You bitch." Clearly indicating he meant that I am the bitch, not her. And when I went, "What?!" he said, "I know what you fucking told her! You are the biggest fucking bitch!" And then that went on for about 10 minutes and before he left he had made it pretty much clear that he hates my guts and never wants to see me again-which is very unfortunate for him considering we live together- because he said, "I wouldn't fucking care if you went downstairs right now and slit your fucking wrists! I'd throw a fucking party at your fucking funeral!" Uhmm... hello? Emo much?
So yes, that is why we're pretty much doing the whole silent treatment thing. And for some reason today he did my chores (putting away the clean dishes from the dishwasher and filling it up again) which is pretty weird because shouldn't I be the one trying to get on his good side - not the other way around? Whatever. I'll let him do what he wants with this whole situation. All I have to do is leave him alone and it's all good, he'll get over it. But all I know is that I'll never get invited out to the shop (second garage thing) to party with him and his hot friends (specifically Kyle) anymore! Daaaang!
Well, just thought I'd fill everyone in on my insane home life! Haha (not like anyone really reads this anyways, it's still fun to write!)

Ahhh! Omigod! :)

Okay, so! Life is like, fucking amazing right about now! I just learned today that #1 band of all time - Crush Luther - is coming here, to Regina! On June 10th! At the Exchange! At 8:00! Wooooo! I just finished emailing Luther (far left; vocals) and telling him how excited I am and how he better remember who I am when I see him at the show and yadda yadda yadda! Trust me, if you heard them, you'd be in love with them the second the song started! First time I heard them was on the much more music top 10 and I almost died with excitement cause they're so good and I hadn't even heard of them! But yeah, you should check 'em out, cause they freakin' rock! First song I ever heard by them and my ultimate favorite is City Girl - everytime I hear it I get all jittery and hyper and like, grahhhh! I can't even explain it! They're just amazing! I should stop now 'cause I'm getting all giddy and jittery again! Hehe :)
So yeah. This has been suuuuuuch a good day! Aside from the horrible "spring" weather we've been having. Gahhhh. But anyways, I'm out.
